In the illustrious history of DPS Bhopal, was added another prestigious award when Moulik Shrivastava and Drishan Vyas of Class-XI were the Zonal Winners of the 'RBI-Q' a mega quiz conducted by the Reserve Bank of India, on 5th December, 2012 at Kolkata. Teams from Six States of the West Zone participated in the Zonal Round. The quiz was conducted at various levels and more than 3000 school across India participated in the quiz.
Delhi Public School Bhopal wins again by defeating Modern Public School, Nagpur in the finals in both the single and double category of CBSE West Zone Badminton Championship 2012 held at Yuganthav Public School, Rajnandgaon. The young aspirants, Varad Puntambekar, Kshitij Gupta and Aditya Agrawal of Class-X had qualified for the finals after a convincing victory over Bhavan's Indore in the semi finals. The victorious team paved their path to glory after competing with 104 schools and playing 6 rounds of matches.
DPS Bhopal 1st Alumni Meet conducted. A full day program with sports events in the morning and Band Performance by Joshish in the evening.
DPS Bhopal organizes Inter DPS Western Vocal Music festival 2012. DPS Indore wins the 1st prize with the first runners up as DPS Bhopal and 2nd runners up as DPS Nagpur.
DPS Bhopal girls team won the inter-school Basketball competition held at Sanskar Valley School on 23rd Aug 2012.
Congratulations to Himanshu Dhakad (Swimming) and Ria David (Soft Tennis) for winning the "EKLAVYA AWARD 2012" - the highest sporting award of the State. Both these students are proud DIPSITES and are studying in DPS Bhopal on Sports Scholarship.
