17 February 2023 marked the beginning of a new chapter for International School Education in India when Shrewsbury School, UK and Jagran Social Welfare Society India signed an agreement to establish Shrewsbury International School India.

    Rooted in the 471-year legacy of Shrewsbury School UK, this will be the institution’s first campus in India, bringing with it a rich tradition of academic excellence, holistic education, and character-building.

    Situated in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, the school is being developed across a vast 150-acre campus, offering world-class infrastructure across academics, boarding, sports, and the performing and visual arts.

    The curriculum will follow the National Curriculum, preparing students for the globally recognized Cambridge International IGCSE, alongside a diverse co-curricular programme designed to unlock every student’s potential.
