JSWS has been promoted by persons since the year 1997, which is registered with Registrar of Societies (Madhya Pradesh) vide registration no. dt. 28/08/1997 as a non proprietary, non- profit Charitable Welfare Organisation with the main objective to develop and propagate educational programs, by the way of establishing progressive schools, colleges, universities or other educational institution in India and abroad, open to all without any distinction of race, caste or creed and other social welfare objective of the society. The Income Tax Department Government of India has granted exemption to the society, under which any contribution towards corpus fund will be exempted from the tax under the section 80G of the Income Tax Act. To achieve this noble cause for the society, the people in general has joined hands generously donating substantial amounts.

JSWS was promoted by Shri Hari Mohan Gupta along with the other members with the ideology & thoughts for social cause of its Patron Late Shri Guru Dev Gupta. Late Shri Guru Dev Gupta was a well known personality of Madhya Pradesh. Freedom fighter and a social worker, former Member of Parliament from 1962 to 1984, the Founder of well known daily Hindi Newspaper ‘Dainik Jagran’ published since last 55 years from Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal-Rewa, famous all over India, the largest read daily newspaper of India. He travelled world-wide representing our country with the Prime Minister of India, Home Minister of India, the President of India on various occasions internationally and has written several books.
